Spring is my most favourite season of the year, for numerous reasons really; the gorgeous flowers bloom, the days get warmer and longer, finally you can start to peel some layers of clothing off, swimming at the beach, picnics and bbq's and of course the new fashion that hits the stores!
So far i have spoke of pastels and digi prints being big hits this season, these gracing most of the racks at stores already. So I started to think about what is in store for us after these fashions fade? Here is what i found: Looks that I guarantee you will see within weeks/months in our stores;
A Trend For All; Navy Blue
Thankfully Navy is a transitional colour that suits every skin tone and hair colour, and it has a softness about it unlike its neighbour black which can sometimes wash out the colour of the wearer leaving them looking rather bleak.
For Guys it is all about the Upper half of the body; well fitted Tees and tailored fitted light weight jackets:

The best part about wearing Navy for the ladies is teaming it with killer Navy blue and baby blue bejewelled accessories, pair these two together and you will make you look a million dollars, just like Georgio Armanis' models dressed in his SS 11 Collection.
The Straw Hat
With Spring and Summer comes the beautiful Sunshine filled days; basking outside in its rays. Nowadays we all know to well the dangers of too much sun, especially the ageing effects it has on the face. That is why this spring/summer it pays to be sun smart (in a fashionable in of course).
The Straw Hat comes in many shapes, sizes and colours, my favourite pick out of the hoards are;
The Wide Brimmed Straw Floppy in Black |
And In White |
The Straw Wide Brim Flat |
The Straw Bowler |
The Straw Fedora |
And for those of you with strawphobia , that don't want to be hat less:
The Floppy Felt |
White-out
White is perfect for balmy summer days, it is light weight, sun reflective and it makes your summer tan shine.
Dressing top to toe in all white can be tricky and end up looking awful if you do it all wrong, keep it simple, with clean lines and casual attire and you will be a success.

The Tailored Wide Leg Pant
High waisted 70's inspired wide leg pants are making a comeback,Vena Cava, Adam Lippes and Derek Lam all featured these in their Spring 2011 Collections. Whilst this is not ideal for all body shapes, it does flatter most if you find the right the fit.
