High Tea @ Palais 85

        High-Tea 3 tier platter at Palais 85

Having previously dined at Palais 85 for a light lunch, I was familiar with the tasteful morsels of food that adorn their tasting platters.

I must say that the High tea that you see in the picture above isn't your standard High-Tea.

There are no scones and jam nor is there cucumber sandwiches, they have been replaced with more sophisticated delights; mini quiches with smoked salmon, spiced green pea stuffed potato cakes, mini minced lamb cakes, pannacotta with berry compote, dark chocolate mousse and dense chocolate crumble served with Margaret River jams and chantilly cream....

Oh and did I mention a glass of bubbles on arrival plus unlimited supply of a wide and varied range of tea's and coffee. Yum!

The perfect nibbles to munch whilst enjoying a fun, intimate fashion show, which saw the models sashaying through the restaurant.

The models stopped at most tables allowing the "audience" to ask the model how they felt in the garment, enquire what the garment was made out of and of course feel the textiles .

Below are a couple of snaps that we managed to capture from the likes of Harmony&Lawson, pinchandspoon, Little Gracie, Natasha Mapleson,ae’lkemi and Papersky.

All of the uber gorgeous models were styled by the talented Desmond Eddy, Fashion Editor for Western Suburbs Weekly.

Enjoy,

Karamea x
