I was searching the web and stumbled across this, since a little girl I have always loved Linda Evangelista. So I had to share this with you all, below is an extract from W Magazine:
Here Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan does what he does best and what he is best known for; his subversive, hyper-realistic sculptures—including depictions of Pope John Paul II being hit by a meteorite, a child-size Hitler kneeling in prayer and a suicidal squirrel. For W’s Art Issue, he conceived a politically and religiously charged portfolio featuring supermodel Linda Evangelista. “She’s a still actress,” says Cattelan of Evangelista. “At the end, she was so tuned-in that all she needed were a couple of words and she knew what we wanted.” A new piece by Cattelan is included in “Pop Life: Art in A Material World,” an exhibition at the Tate Modern in London that runs through January. In February a show focusing on his large-scale works will open at the Menil Collection in Houston. Cattelan cocurated the Berlin Biennial in 2006 and lives in New York and Milan.

Designer♥: Garth Cook
Cook graduated from the WA School of Art & Design in 2006, Cook then moved to London where he resided for 3 consecutive years. There he worked with designers such as Marios Schwab and Husam el Odeh and assisted at London Fashion Week, all whilst furthering his studies at the London College of Fashion.
Cook's latest Winter collection for 2010 was showcased at May's Rosemount Fashion Week and RAWF. Luckily for us Perthians Cook's collection will be available in store at Zara Bryson ( Shop 2, 502 Hay Street in Subiaco )from August.
If you simply can't wait that long, you can take a sneak peak from now until July 28th as Cook's collection is currently Zara Bryson's window display.
Below is a couple of snaps from his new collection, which evoke dark romanticism with smouldering, sheer ,slinky, sexy undertones.
All garments are very tailored and hand-made , using a combination of light beautiful fabrics that leave the wearer feeling nude without being naked.

The Face of 2010 Perth Fashion Festival
16 Year old Sarah Pauley from Pingelly, Western Australia will be the face of the 2010 Perth Fashion Festival to be held in September.
At a striking 183cm with alabaster skin and strawberry blonde hair, Sarah is sure to be a stand-out on the catwalk.
As the face of the festival she will be representing the fashion festival in front of an ever-growing audience of national and international media and fashion industry representatives.
